TQMA had a few drivers compete in the final USAC Las Vegas Nationals that saw over 180 cars compete. One of our own Drew Sherman was competing for a USAC Senior Honda National Championship.

Tucson drivers Julian and Manny Zayas, Allison and Rylee Gauthier, Dayton Shelton, Drew Sherman, Easton Cambensy, Dextry Wright and the Wilson family all competed against the nations best!

First time national feature starters Dextry Wright and Julian Zayas in Junior Honda. Dextry made it straight to the A-feature from his heat! and Julian was able to come from the B-Main to make the big show.

Drew Sherman would have his work cut out in the strong senior Honda class to compete for the National title. After a green to checkered run Drew was able to finish in the 3rd position but came up just short by .3 points. The title came down to 4 drivers and was a fight to the end.

With a new track to everyone Julian Zayas, Drew Sherman, and Rylee Gauthier all took podiums! Great job by everyone!
